Sportscaster Lee Ki-ho has been suspended for sexually harassing remarks.
On the 2nd, KBS N Sports posted an apology titled, "We apologize to our viewers and baseball fans" on their official homepage. KBS N Sports stated, "We recognized the seriousness of the caster's problematic remarks during the Hanwha-KT baseball game broadcast on the 1st," and "We immediately suspended the person in question, initiated the personnel committee referral process, and suspended the baseball broadcast assigned to him." They then apologized, saying, "We sincerely apologize to our viewers and baseball fans for this incident." Caster Lee Ki-ho was the caster for the Hanwha-KT baseball game broadcast on the 1st. During the game, a Hanwha fan was caught on camera holding a sketchbook with the phrase, "If you're a woman, you'd be Choi Jae-hoon," and caster Lee Ki-ho caused controversy by saying, "I want to eat women's ramen. I think it's the most delicious ramen." Although he later apologized, saying, "I think I used inappropriate language," he was criticized by viewers and fans. The fan who had the sketchbook also expressed his displeasure. The fan said through an online community, "After the game, I received an apology from caster Lee Ki-ho and the PD," and demanded, "The condition is to cut (the scene in question) out of the Tving video and accurately explain the mistake in the next broadcast and apologize. Please see if he keeps this." Meanwhile, caster Lee Ki-ho joined SBS as a sports caster in 2001. Since 2003, he has been working as a KBS N sports announcer.] For more Info, here: https://bsc.news/post/safe-totosite-ranking-top-15-major-safe-playground-2024 |
